The rules that apply when you use SDGP.LK. Please read them before creating an account or submitting work.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SDGP.LK (the "Platform"), operated in connection with the Software Development Group Project module at the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

You retain ownership of the projects, blog posts, images, and other material you submit ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display it for the purpose of operating the Platform and showcasing student work. You represent that:

The Platform's source code is published under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later, with an additional restriction limiting use to non-commercial purposes. The SDGP.LK name, logo, and branding remain the property of their respective owners and are not licensed for reuse. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Platform to you.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of data, loss of academic marks, or loss of opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms, if your email address ceases to be eligible, or if required for security or legal reasons. You may stop using the Platform at any time and request deletion of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Content that has already been published as part of the public project archive may be retained.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify users through the Platform or by email. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
